St. Aloysius Scout Group Marks 31st Consecutive Year of Community Service at the 801st Sabaragamuwa Maha Saman Devalaya Esala Perahera

The St. Aloysius College Scout Group is once again preparing to carry out its annual community service project during the 801st Esala Maha Perahera of the Sabaragamuwa Maha Saman Devalaya, continuing an unbroken tradition for the 31st consecutive year.

This long-standing initiative reflects the Scout Movement’s commitment to service, discipline, and community responsibility. Throughout the Perahera festival, the Scouts will actively support pilgrims and visitors by providing essential assistance and contributing to the smooth organization of this sacred cultural event.

For over three decades, the St. Aloysius Scout Group has proudly upheld this tradition, demonstrating the true spirit of scouting through dedicated volunteer service. Their continued participation has become an integral part of the annual Esala Perahera, earning the respect and appreciation of the local community.
